Here is an excellent exerpt from a debate between two respected scholars – one from the atheist perspective, the other a Christian. The debate was over the recent accusation by the atheist movement, and its leaders – authors Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens (here) – that religion is the root of social injustice, and that Christianity should be wiped away and forgotten.
